Bilingual psychological testing for kids, teens, and adults in Colorado

Find Answers. Gain Clarity. Move Forward.

When learning, behavior, or emotions feel overwhelming, you don’t have to guess what’s going on. Psychological testing gives you a clear picture of strengths, challenges, and the next steps to help you or your child thrive.

Why People Come to Us

Maybe you’ve been wondering why school feels like an uphill battle, why certain tasks feel harder than they “should,” or why emotions sometimes take over. Without clear answers, it’s easy to feel stuck, frustrated, or uncertain about what to do next.

At Lucent Paths, we provide research-backed, bilingual evaluations (English & Spanish) that translate questions into clarity and an actionable plan, guiding you toward the right supports, strategies, and solutions.

Why Testing Matters

Testing is more than a diagnosis—it’s a roadmap. You’ll understand how you, or your child, think and learn, what’s getting in the way, and how to move forward with confidence.

With your results, you can:

  • See the full picture of strengths and challenges.

  • Advocate effectively for IEPs/504s, and college/workplace accommodations

  • Align your care with teachers, therapists, psychiatrists, and your primary care team.

Why Families & Adults Choose Lucent Paths

  • Specialized expertise: Evaluations are conducted by Dr. Devin Rodriguez, PsyD, LPC, or Dr. Wilmerys Soto, PsyD — both registered psychologist candidates — and every evaluation is reviewed and signed by our supervising licensed psychologist, Dr. Beth Peters, PhD (Colorado License #PSY.0004004), before it reaches you.

  • Bilingual services: Testing in English and Spanish; bilingual reports available.

  • Whole-person approach: We look beyond checklists to context, emotion, learning, and environment.

  • Actionable reports: Clear language with practical steps you can use right away.

What’s Included in Your Evaluation

Each evaluation is a comprehensive investment in answers that often save years of uncertainty, trial-and-error interventions, and missed support. A comprehensive evaluation includes:

  • Initial consultation & a clinical interview

  • Testing sessions

  • Careful scoring & interpretation

  • Detailed written report in plain language

  • Feedback session to review results & next steps

  • Coordination with school, physicians, or therapists (with permission)

Insurance & Payment Options

Psychological evaluations are $1,800–$4,000, depending on the referral question and the measures needed. You'll receive a quote after your free consultation, before anything is scheduled. Because evaluations are private pay, we don't bill insurance directly, but we do provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement. We also accept major credit cards and HSA/FSA funds.

Another option is to apply for CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that lets you spread the cost over time, often with an interest-free promotional period. Applying takes just a few minutes online.
